NPR Writing Contest This Week

For anyone interested, I just found out that NPR is doing their "Three Minute Fiction" contest this week. Writers are being asked to write a short story of no more than 600 words that starts with the sentence "She closed the book, placed it on the table, and finally decided to walk through the door." Entries must be submitted to www.npr.org by 11:59pm ET on March 25th. If anyone else needs an idea for this week, you could go this route.
